Waterproof Mortars
Waterproofing Mortar is a high-performance, polymer modified, cement coating for interior and exterior use. Use to waterproof basements, foundations, retaining walls, tilt-up concrete, cast-in-place concrete, and precast concrete.
Waterproofing mortars are used to protect structures against water infiltration.
They are supplied as ready-to-use solutions to seal against damp soil, seepage and percolating water.
Waterproofing mortars are often applied in water reservoirs, water retaining structures, basements and other engineering structures as well as beneath tiling for swimming pools, balconies, bathrooms and kitchens.
Mortar is not waterproof. However, there are products that can be applied to mortar (and other concrete materials), that can make the mortar waterproof.
Rapid Set Waterproofing Mortar is a high-performance, polymer modified, cement coating. Durable in multiple environments, Waterproofing Mortar is a blend of Rapid Set hydraulic cement, high performance additives and quality aggregates. It has a working time of 30-minutes, can be exposed to hydrostatic pressure in 3-days to 5-days and cures to a concrete gray color. Use Waterproofing Mortar on interior or exterior concrete and masonry surfaces both above and below grade. It can be used to waterproof basements, foundations, retaining walls, tilt-up concrete, cast-in-place concrete and precast concrete.
The waterproof range of mortars is comprised of products containing waterproofing additives which protect the surface against the constant pressure of water and ensure watertightness.

Anxin cellulose ether products in Waterproof Mortars can effectively improve the crack resistance of the mortar, reduce the water absorption and dry shrinkage of the rigid waterproof mortar, so as to achieve the effect of waterproof and impermeability.
